• Being a Christian does not mean that you are perfect. Being a Christian doesn’t mean that you won’t make mistakes. but it does mean that you are forgiven of sin. Your new goal is to live a Christian life, but if you make a mistake, God still loves you. When you get knocked off of the path, get back up and start walking the true way again.
• You have been given eternal life — When you place your faith in Christ, you are given eternal life. You will spend eternity in heaven with the Lord.
• You need to go to Church – Your faith will become stronger the more that you attend church and listen to God’s word. The strength of fellowship that you receive from the Pastor and other leaders is vital to your spiritual growth. You can express your love of God freely, and listen to others express their own faith. Going to church re-charges your faith, and restores your soul.
• You need to pray – Prayer is very important. God is your Father, and by praying to him every day, you will receive guidance and the strength to handle any problems you may be having. It provides fellowship between you and your father, and that connection is important.
• You need to read the Bible – The Bible is God’s word, and as you read it, you will grow spiritually. Your faith will become stronger, and you will receive guidance and direction in your life.
• You need to live a good life — You need to try and live according to God’s rules, and live a good life. If you continue in a sinful lifestyle and stray from God, this could lead you back into your old, ungodly ways. But if you continue your relationship with God, he will help us defeat sinful behavior.
• Share your love of Christ with others — It is important for you to openly declare Jesus Christ as your Savior and Lord to others. Once you have accepted Jesus Christ, tell someone. Don’t keep it a secret. This may be something as simple as wearing Christian clothing or Christian shirts that proclaim your new faith, or it might be telling a friend about your new-found love for Jesus. However you decide to share the news is fine, just make sure that you share it.
